Payment rules

Only one fee is claimable per matter for negotiations with the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Audit requirements

Evidence of written submissions to the Director of Public Prosecutions must be retained on the practitioner's file. If the submissions were oral, a file note must be made by the practitioner outlining the date(s) of negotiation, the name of the prosecutor and the issues discussed.
