    Assessment of accounts verification by outcome

    The proforma account of a DV1 grant of aid is structured in such a way that the outcome limits the items which can be claimed as follows:

    If the outcome is no protection order was made because the matter is proceeding to a contested hearing claim items are limited to:

    • Prepare and attend

    The firm should seek an extension of aid to prepare for and attend the final contested hearing.

    The consent order work type cannot be claimed under the DV1 grant.

    If the outcome is no protection order was made because the client withdrew instructions or the matter did not proceed past initial instructions claim items are limited to:

    • Prepare and attend

    The consent order work type cannot be claimed under the DV1 grant.

    If the outcome is a final protection order was made and it was granted by undertaking/consent/unopposed at an early stage claim items include:

    • Prepare and attend
    • Consent orders
