Do you need help with a legal problem?

Legal Aid Queensland can help you with many personal legal problems, including if you are charged with a criminal offence, parenting arrangements if you are separating, domestic and family violence, child protection, anti-discrimination and debt.

Hours: 8:30am—4:30pm Monday to Friday

Our free legal services include:

  • a confidential legal information service
  • advice session from qualified lawyers
  • free publications about legal problems.

Ongoing legal help and representation in court may also be available if you are eligible.

Get help in your language

If you need someone who speaks your own language, call the Translating and Interpreting Service on 13 14 50 and ask for an interpreter. Ask them to contact Legal Aid Queensland on 1800 998 980.
