Life after separation - putting the pieces back together
Chapter 4 - Relationship support
>> PRESENTER: Family Relationship Centres may offer different programs in different areas.
Services that might be available include family dispute resolution and a range of informative education programs about issues relating to your children, including living arrangements for children and how you can best support your children after a family separation. Family Relationship Centres and the Family Relationships Advice Line can provide you with support and information about your options after separation and give you information about other services you might find helpful, such as family counselling services.
If violence or abuse have been a problem in your relationship you can also get information from your local Family Relationship Centre and individual advice from Legal Aid Queensland about what you can do to protect yourself and how this could affect the separation process.
