Upcoming Youth Practitioner Certification training sessions

We are pleased to advise that Legal Aid Queensland has organised two training sessions for the Youth Practitioner Certification for practitioners who wish to undertake the training. This training is a compulsory certification program for all youth lawyers undertaking Childrens Court duty lawyer and/or file work. The dates for the training sessions are as follows:

• 18 July 2024 9am – 4pm.
• 11 November 2024 9am – 4pm.

These sessions can be attended either in person, at Legal Aid Queensland’s Brisbane office at 44 Herschel Street, or via a webinar. In person attendance is encouraged, however these spots are limited to 20 practitioners for each sessions. Please use the webinar option if you are unable to attend in person or there are no available spots for in person attendance.
