Select from the court locations below for details of each court’s duty lawyer service provider, when the service is provided, and their preferred contact method. This page replaces the previous “Magistrates and Childrens Court Contact and Service Status” spreadsheet.
The service providers listed at each court are available to act as agent in criminal law matters. Practitioners must determine if the duty lawyer can appear as agent on the matter, then submit a request for duty lawyer to act as agent(PDF, 397KB) directly to the service provider at the desired court.
Please note, some courts have multiple duty lawyers appearing on a rostered basis. See the court’s roster for details.
For more information about a particular court or duty lawyer, please call us on 1300 65 11 88 (for the cost of a local call from a landline in Australia).
