Legal aid has been granted for you to represent your client to make an application or respond to court proceedings in the Magistrates Court under the Domestic and Family Violence Protection Act. This grant of aid covers all work up to listing for hearing, including taking instructions, providing advice, draft, execute and file the application including any cross application, liaise with the other party, negotiate, attend court and resolve the matter by consent if appropriate. If the matter is proceeding to a final contested hearing, an extension should be sought through Grants Online. This is a maximum fee grant of aid (including agents fees) and claims can be made based on the outcome in accordance with the attached proforma invoice. The maximum fee payable on this invoice for disbursements is $50.00
