Aid is approved to represent your client at a property conference convened by Legal Aid Queensland (solicitor only). Funding is provided under the Commonwealth Lawyer-assisted Family Law Property Mediation Trial. This is a maximum fee grant of aid. Claims can be made for actual time spent up to the maximum. A Conference Organiser will contact you to arrange a date for the conference. A completed Property Statement Form must be forwarded to the Conference Organiser within twenty-one (21) days of the date of this letter. This form can be requested by emailing drs@legalaid.qld.gov.au. This grant of aid is inclusive of preparation for and attendance at the conference, the preparation of consent orders if required, and writing to your client confirming the outcome and any further options available.
Legal aid has been granted for you to be represented at a property conference convened by Legal Aid Queensland (solicitor only) in relation to <!approved_matters!>. Funding is provided under the Commonwealth Lawyer assisted Family Law Property Mediation Trial. Grants of legal assistance in family law matters are provided in stages. This stage allows for your solicitor to take your instructions, attend the conference, prepare consent orders (if an agreement is reached) and write to you confirming the outcome and any further options available. Tests apply for continued funding for further stages of the proceedings. The maximum fee Legal Aid will pay your lawyer for this stage is $900.00 plus disbursements of $25.00 Funding for parties in family law matters are subject to a cost cap.
