Legal assistance is only available for Commonwealth employment matters where the applicant for assistance falls within the category of a disadvantaged client set in the Commonwealth legal aid service priorities – special circumstances of the applicant priority. This category includes an applicant: - with a language or literacy problem; - with an intellectual, psychiatric or physical disability; - living in a remote locality making it difficult to obtain legal assistance; - being at risk of social exclusion; or - being a child.
