Your client's grant of legal assistance was approved on the condition that your client contact LAQ's Debt Management Unit within 14 days from the date their legal aid application was approved and negotiate and maintain a payment arrangement reasonable to LAQ having regard to their financial circumstances. We have been advised by our Debt Management Unit that this has not occurred. As your client has not complied with the conditions of funding the grant of legal assistance has been terminated.
