Solicitor clause wording
Your request for additional standard preparation within stage 5 has been refused as based on the information provided it does not appear that the criteria have been met. Additional standard preparation is only available within this stage where:
- The appeal is being conducted by solicitor or counsel who were not involved in the substantive proceedings which gave rise to the appeal, and
- It is considered that funding for additional preparation is an appropriate expenditure of limited public funds.
