Solicitor clause wording
Legal Aid Queensland has a one client, one law practice policy. Any request to represent more than one legally aided co-accused requires prior approval from an External Review Officer following the submission of the co-accused allocation request form. In this instance your request to represent co-accused in this matter has been refused by an External Review Officer and this matter has been allocated to another firm. Your client has been advised of the allocation.
The decision not to allocate this matter to your firm is a final decision of Legal Aid Queensland.
